Eljay, also known as Jay, is a talented music producer whose journey began with his exploration of virtual DJ software, where he honed his skills in creating trap and bass-infused bootlegs. Garnering attention on Soundcloud under the moniker Eljay, he quickly made a name for himself within the music community.

Jay’s passion for both digital software and organic instrumentation led him to enroll in a music course at Newham College following his discharge. Recognizing his growing talents, he later transferred to Westminster Kingsway College to further his studies. It wasn’t long before he started sharing his music with a wide audience, generating a buzz and gaining support from influential figures like DJ Target on BBC Radio 1Xtra’s ‘Homegrown’ show.

In 2023, Jay embarked on an exciting new chapter in his musical journey. Drawing inspiration from acclaimed artists such as Skrillex, Mura Masa, and Diplo, his sound resides at the intersection of pop and electronic genres. Jay’s music is characterized by his thrilling and futuristic production style, combined with his distinctive and quirky musical traits.

Looking ahead, Eljay has ambitious plans for the future. He describes his upcoming projects as “more crazy, alternative, dark, and sick music,” indicating his unwavering commitment to pushing boundaries and delivering unique sonic experiences. As a producer, Eljay has already made notable contributions to the industry. He co-produced Craig David‘s single “My Heart’s Been Waiting For You” featuring Duvall, showcasing his ability to collaborate and create compelling musical experiences.
